Current name. Cycloramphus carvalhoi ( Izecksohn, 1983 ) Dubois et al. 2021: 178 , by implication. Paratype . MNRJ 4169 , adult male, collected at the type locality by O.L. Peixoto , C.A.G. Cruz , and E. Izecksohn , in 28–29 October 1981 . Type locality. “Santa Tereza, Estado do Espírito Santo , Brasil”. Here updated for Municipality of Santa Teresa ( 19 o 56’S , 40 o 36’W ; Datum WGS 84; 90– 1.040 m a.s.l. ), State of Espírito Santo , Brazil . Remarks. The genus Zachaenus Cope, 1866 was synonymized with Cycloramphus Tschudi, 1838 by Dubois et al. (2021: 686) . However, Dubois et al. (2021) failed to observe that, in proposing the synonymy, two valid species names were now secondary homonyms, viz ., Cycloramphus carvalhoi ( Izecksohn, 1983 “1982”) and Cycloramphus carvalhoi Heyer, 1983 , as pointed out by Segalla et al. (2021: 124) . Since Cycloramphus carvalhoi ( Izecksohn, 1983 “1982”) has priority as the senior homonym, the species described by Heyer (1983) required a nomen novum (see below).
