Material examined. Galápagos Islands : Santa Cruz: CDRS , beach zone, 19.vi.2016 , marine iguana dung, B.J. Sinclair (2 ♁, CNC ) . Remarks. This is a common city species in Brazil and it has been reared from damaged turtle eggs and hatchlings in Costa Rica ( Carvalho-Filho & Esposito 2012 ). Galápagos specimens have been collected on beaches, sometimes associated with marine iguana dung ( Fig. 7 ).
