Diagnosis.
Arista absent in males (MSSC) (

A); first flagellomere with dense pubescence, 7 times as long as basal width, with acute apex; in females the arista is subapical and the first flagellomere is twice as long as basal width (

B); mesonotum with purplish longitudinal stripe between dc rows in both sexes; ac small and biseriate; 6 strong dc present; 2 strong marginal scutellars present, without lateral setae or hairs; hind coxa with a strong lateral seta; mid femur with an anterior and a posterior preapical seta, fore and hind femora without preapicals; veins R4+5 and M subparallel in distal section. Male hypopygium partially exposed and visible under postabdomen (see species description for detailed description of the hypopygium).
