Collection and habitat data. Most specimens of Dendrophilus kiteleyi were found in tree cavities in deciduous trees ( Bousquet and Laplante 2006 ). All specimens from New Brunswick were collected from nest material from barred owl nests (most with chicks) in natural cavities in trees or in artificial nest boxes. Adults were collected during late May, June, July, and September. Distribution in Canada and Alaska. AB, MB, ON, QC, NB ( Bousquet and Laplante 2006 ).
