Remarks.
In Macau, adults are active from early spring till mid-autumn and range in total length 11-15 mm and 4-6 mm in maximum width. The species is mainly nocturnal and promptly attracted to artificial lights. In Hong Kong, larvae of this species bore into wood of
Morus alba
(
Yiu 2009
). Elsewhere, larval host plants include also
Albizia julibrissin
,
Celtis sinensis
,
Ficus pumila
,
Machilus thunbergii
,
Pinus massoniana
and
Prunus persica
(
Hua 2002
;
Lim et al. 2014
).
