In Eastern Palearctic genera of Perilissini , this genus can be separated from other genera by the combination of following character states: occipital carina reaching to base of mandible ( Fig. 3 B ); T I usually more than 2.0 × as long as maximum width, without a definite median basal depression that is bordered laterally by raised edges; posterior margin of subgenital plate with one to several median notches ( Figs 3 F, G ); apex of aedeagus curved over and ending in an adze-like blade ( Fig. 3 F ).
