( Fig. 104 ) The solitary larva forms a white upper surface blotch leaf mine. Pupation takes place within the mine. Puparium. ( Figs. 105, 106 ) Black, glossy except the last three abdominal segments, which are matt and finely folded; 2.5 mm long, with deep segmentation; surface smooth except for the wide wrinkled spine bands. Posterior spiracles set on a single narrow and long conical glossy protuberance directed dorso-posteriorly; blackish-brown, glossy, two-horned and entirely separate. Anal plate distinctly protruding above the surface of the puparium viewed from the side and directed posteriorly. Cephalopharyngeal skeleton. ( Fig. 431 ) Right mouthhook larger than the left, both rounded ventrally. Each mouthhook bears two sharp accessory teeth. Intermediate sclerite narrow, slightly curved, with long, sharp, fingerlike process directed ventro-posteriorly, 1.62× as long as maximum height of left mouthhook. The mouthhook and intermediate sclerite are strongly sclerotized, the pharyngeal sclerite much less so. Indentation index 76. Female head. ( Figs. 432, 433 ) Dirty yellow to brown, with antenna, face, oc tr and postgena black, proboscis yellow; orbit not projecting above eye in profile, 2 orb s, 2 fr s; lunule high, narrowing posteriorly, reaching the level of the posterior fr s; pped of medium size, slightly longer than high; gena medially 0.2× as high as maximum height of eye. Female genitalia. ( Fig. 434 ) Spermathecae are unequal in size, dark brown. Basal half of capsule of spermatheca subconical and slightly curved, with apical half asymmetrically hemispherical. Entire surface of capsule covered with numerous small, shallow invaginations. Spermathecal duct distinctly sclerotized. Distribution. Holarctic ( Papp & Černý 2016 ). Ukraine (first record).
