(Fig. 3) Description: Holotype : Ƥ. Body length 13 mm . Pale yellow brown, ocellar spot and connected middle quadrate macula on postocellar area, an angulated stripe on temple (Fig. 3b), apex of mandible, a straight stripe on anterior margin and a curved stripe near posterior corner of pronotum, most of outer side of propleuron, broad elliptical spot on prescutum, one large elongated spot connected to one small round spot on each lobe of scutum, centre of mesopostnotum, a spot near cenchrus, a pair of triangular spots near posterior margin of metapostnotum, ventral side of mesepisternum, a stripe on anterior margin of mesepimeron, posterior half of abdominal tergites 1 and 3–7, a short, narrow middle stripe on posterior margin of tergite 2, posterior 0.25 of tergite 8, and FIGURE 3. Legs pale yellow, apical 0.4 of hind femur and apical 0.25 of hind tibia black. Antenna black brown, basal 4–5 antennomeres partly pale (Fig. 3d). Body hairs silver. Wings hyaline, vein C entirely, basal 0.4 and anterior margin of stigma pale brown, other parts of stigma and other veins black brown (Fig. 3a). Clypeus and postocellar area minutely and sparsely punctured, head otherwise polished, shiny; mesonotum scarcely and minutely punctured, posterior half of mesoscutellum and posttergite with some larger punctures; metanotum strongly shiny; mesepisternum minutely and sparsely punctured, interspaces between punctures very broad, polished; metapleuron without microsculpture; abdominal tergites shining, without distinct microsculpture and punctures. Anterior margin of labrum roundly protruding, anterior margin of clypeus deeply incised to 0.7× clypeus length (Fig. 3c); malar space as long as radius of middle ocellus; POL: OOL: OCL = 13: 24: 43; postocellar area weakly elevated, 1.5× longer than wide, lateral furrows roundly curved outwards at middle, slightly convergent toward both ends; head behind eyes in dorsal view about as long as eye (15: 16), lateral sides distinct curved, dilated (Fig. 3b). Antenna slender, tapering toward apex, relative length of antennomeres about 8: 4: 21: 17: 14: 9: 8: 8: 9 (Fig. 3d). Mesoscutellum roundly elevated, posterior slope shorter than anterior slope; mesepisternum indistinctly elevated; distance between cenchri 2× major axis of a cenchrus. Claw with inner tooth hardly shorter than outer tooth. Vein R+M in fore wing as long as free sector of Sc, lower outer corner of cell 2Rs strongly extended, vein 2r joining cell 2Rs at apical third. Petiole of anal cell in hind wing 0.25× length of vein cu-a. Ovipositor sheath as long as metabasitarsus, apical sheath slightly shorter than basal plate, triangular at apex in lateral view (Fig. 3h); in dorsal view sheath about 3× as wide as cercus, setae on lateral sides of sheath long, hardly curved. Lancet with 27 serrulae, membrane between 8th and 9th serrulae distinctly narrower than width of a serrula, 5th–7th serrulae as in Fig. 3i , each with 4–5 indistinct outer subbasal teeth and a distinct but small inner subbasal tooth; 11th–13th serrulae as in Fig. 3j. Male: Unknown. Etymology: The specific epithet refers to the entire black band on posterior half of abdominal tergites 3–7 and is to be treated as an adjective. Specimen examined: Holotype , Ƥ, Guizizhai ( 112º56.111´E , 24º57.002´N ), Mt. Mangshan, Hunan Province, alt. 1240 m , 2 July , 2006, Mei Nie (CSCS). Paratype : 1Ƥ, Datangkeng ( 112º48.138´E , 24º59.015´N ), Mt. Mangshan, Hunan Province, alt. 1090 m , 14 June , 2007, Qing Yang (CSCS). Distribution: China (Hunan).
