Bobrov 2001 , P. 1012, Fig. 1 . Description. Shell small, axially symmetrical, circular in transverse section, flattened in longitudinal section, widely elliptical. Aperture central, circular, wide, Apertural edge even, smooth, with weakly seen thickening. Shell chitinous, yellowish-brown. Shell surface smooth, without alien inclusions. Diameter/height ratio 1.88. Measurements. Shell diameter 15–23 µm, shell height 8–12 µm, aperture diameter 7–13 µm. Habitat. Upper layer ( 0–5 cm ) of Sphagnum quagmire, wet Sphagnum mosses. Geographical distribution. Russia, Japan.
