Austria , former Czechoslovakia , Germany , Hungary , Japan , Netherlands , Poland , Russia (European part, south of the Far East), Spain , and United Kingdom ( Yu et al . 2005 ). Remarks. This species is rarely collected but, like its host, is widely distributed in the Palearctic Region. Males have the fore wing strongly narrowed with much reduced wing venation; the hind wing is strongly shortened. Females are macropterous.
