DISTRIBUTION. — Maldive Islands , Indonesia , Chesterfield Islands and New Caledonia ( Dijkstra 1995: 28 ); live in 27-45 m . New records for the Solomon Islands . Present material live in 509-522 m . The bathymetrical range is considerably extended, this species previously having been recorded only from sublittoral depths .
