Remarks. Endrodi (1966 , 1985a ) reported specimens of C. obesa (= C. quercina ) from Honduras (Islas de la Bahia), Costa Rica ( Limon ), and the United States (Arizona). These are the only records of C. quercina from these countries, and they are considered spurious or erroneous ( Ratcliffe 2003 ). Cyclocephala quercina is a South American species ( Ratcliffe 2003 ).
