Forewing ( Fig. 1A–C ), not extensively covered with small spots (secondary reversal); cell a with single marking; opposing spots in cell r absent; Rs fork acute; 3rd section of CuA almost straight, directed posteriorly. Male terminalia ( Fig. 2 ): No clunial arm. Epiproct with well-expanded lobe. Paraproctal distal lobe small; distal process almost straight. Eighth venter with pair of small sclerites widely separated from hypandrium. Hypandrium asymmetrical, with lobe-like projection on right side (= modified right process), medially with wide membranous region ; left process well developed ; median tongue absent. Phallosome asymmetrical , broadened posteriorly, with weakly sclerotized parameres ( sensu Yoshizawa, 1998 ; Yoshizawa, 2004; not Yoshizawa, 2001 ), postero-lateral corner with extension. Female genitalia : Ventral valve of gonapophyses short, not reaching external valve. External valve lacking posterior lobe. Internal plate little sclerotized. Remarks: Although Yoshizawa (2001) assigned the parthenogenetic T. circularoides to the spiniserrulum
