and redescribed by
Lewis (1974)
. It was recorded from
Vietnam
by
Crosskey and Howard (1997)
and
Pham (1998)
. The females of this species were reported to be a human-biter and to transmit an
Onchocerca
species in
Thailand
(Takaoka
et al
. 2003).
