Fore wings not narrowing or weakly narrowing apically, with long clavus and without nodal line. Abdominal sternites IV–VI each with deep lateral furrows, apparently separating sternites and pleurites, not reaching its hind margins. Hind margins of male pygofer with long filiform processes below anal tube. Penis tubuar, strongly curved (in lateral view), without processes basally. Composition and distribution. Three species known from southern China , northern Laos , and northern Thailand . Key to the subgenera and species of Pseudosymplanella 1. Metope, except light carinae and band above clypeus, postclypeus, pronotum, mesonotum, and fore wings up to nodal line brown to dark brown or black ( Che et al. 2009 , figs 1–3). Style narrow, hook-shaped apically ( Che et al. 2009 , figs 18, 19). Hind margin of female sternite VII notched medially, endogonocoxal lobes not fused............................................................................ Pseudosymplanella s. str.
