Remarks.
This species has a circular pocket at base of 1A+2A vein in male forewing. It resembles
H. cervinum
Walsingham
, but can be distinguished by termen with a pair of white streaks in the forewing, socius oblong and slightly dilated distally and two equal signa. In
H. cervinum
termen lacks the streaks in the forewing, the socius is oval in male genitalia and two signa are different in size in female genitalia.
