Leaf : Used as an application for eruptions. Root : Used for medicinal purposes. Fruit : Astringent. Note. In India the bark is demulcent; the leaf is put on eruptions; the fruit is astringent, cooling, and stomachic; and the root-bark is used for rheumatism ( Jain and DeFilipps 1991 ). Reference.
