Common, SDEI. Distribution. New South Wales ( Gaedike, 1968 ), Queensland (first record). Bionomics. The early stages and host plants are unknown. The genitalia structure of the following six species G. bipunctata , G. luridicapitella sp. nov. , G. queenslandi , G. acacivorella , G. fuscostriata sp. nov. and G. robinsoni sp. nov. shows a characteristic similarity in the shape of valva: subapically with a rod-shaped or digital strong sclerotized process, with rounded or with pointed tip. These species are grouped into a separate species-group.
