The wasp stood near the paralyzed spider as it laid on the ground, dorsal side upward, examining it with her antennae ( Mazur 2018 ). CA: Trinity County, Klamath Mountains, Pacific Crest Trail; 8 July 2018 ; C. Collier (naturechris). Host: Antrodiaetus cf pacificus , adult or subadult female. The wasp straddled and stung the folding trapdoor spider, dorsal side upward, as it laid on the ground ( Collier 2018 ). OR: Benton County , Corvallis , McDonald forest; 7 April 1966 or 1967; F. Coyle. Host : Antrodiaetus pugnax (Chamberlin) , adult female. One folding trapdoor spider was collected and labeled in the study as the “prey of Dinocnemis (= Calopompilus )”, no further data ( Coyle 1971 ) .
