Bionomics.
Mesophilous species, common in deciduous and mixed forest in valleys where syringa bushes are abundant. Univoltine. The moth flies from June to August. Larvae feed on

]. This misidentification by Hampson was repeated by Warren (1914, pl.

Craniophora niveosparsa
