Hyde for his contributions to Asian mycology HolotypeMFLU 17-2652 Saprobic on dead decaying wood. Sexual morph Undetermined. Asexual morph Colonies on natural substrate superficial, black, scattered, gregarious, powdery. Mycelium mostly immersed, composed of pale brown to dark brown, septate, branched, verruculose, 1.5−3.5 μm wide hyphae. Conidiophores 2.5–6 μm diam., macronematous, rarely micronematous, short, green, erect to slightly curved, slightly flexuous, branched, slightly constrict at the septa, uneven, thick-walled. Conidiogenous cells monoblastic, integrated, terminal, determinate, dark green. Conidia (12–) 15–28 × (8–) 14–25μm (= 18 × 16 μm, n = 30), solitary or developing in chains, muriform, deeply constricted at the septa, subglobose to ellipsoidal to irregular, green or dark green, turning brown to dark brown on maturity, verrucose. Culture characters – Conidia germinated on WA (Water Agar) within 24 h. Germ tubes produced from all round. Colonies on PDA reaching about 50 mm diam. after 10 days in the dark at 25 °C. Colonies are circular, grey and dense, with entire edge. Material examined Thailand , Chiang Mai Province , on decaying wood, 27 Sep 2016 , C.G.
