Tenthredo punctulata KONOW, 1887 (primary homonym) was only recently removed from synonymy with Tenthredo colon KLUG, 1817 , recognised to be a separate species, and re-named T. semicolon by A. MOL (inTAEGER 2013). Previously published information under the name T. colon on the larva, hosts and distribution may refer to either species. T. colon also occurs in Brandenburg : several specimens have been collected at Langer Berg, north of Eberswalde, in the Biosphere Reserve Schorfheide-Chorin, leg. DEI.
