Material revised One specimen from RMCA (No. 82324), ex Pelomys fallax , collected 9 October 1953 , designated as “topotype 8”, labeled by the hand of Vercammen-Grandjean, not suitable for examination. One specimen from BMNH (1956.9.15.60), ex Crocidura sp., collected 22 February 1954 , designated as “topotype 25”. Distribution DR Congo (Bukavu). This species was also recorded in Kyrgyzstan ( Osh and Aravan) on Crocidura suaveolens and Meriones libycus ( Kudryashova 1998 ) . Hosts Crocidura sp., Pelomys fallax , Rattus rattus ( type host). The first two records are added on the basis of material revised. Remarks Described from a single specimen.
