Mature nymph, Province Granma , Río Yara , 6-VI-99, P. López. The species was described from the Río Yara, Granma Prov. , by Gonzalez-Lazo and Salles (2007) . It is similar to C. planifrons in coloration but distinguished from it by its larger size (> 7.5 mm). Ecology. Little is known about the ecology of this species. It was collected on stones in rapids at an altitude between 300 and 400 m ( López 2001 ). Geographic distribution. Distribution of this species is limited to the type locality in the Eastern Region ( Fig. 4 ).
