Eutarsopolipus savatus
sp. nov.
is most similar to
E. labiatus
and the distinguishing features are discussed under the
Differential Diagnosis
for the latter species.
Etymology.
The name
savatus
(a tender kiss) alludes to both the lip-like protrusion of the
gnathosoma
but also alludes to the larger size of this species.
Remarks.
One larva similar to
E. echinatus
Seeman, 2019a
was found on HR#
T82502
;
one male
closest to the
nahmani
subgroup group was found on HR#
T82502
(QMS 113499) (

).
The
leytei
species group
