Colony consisting of uniserial creeping autozooids; these with an oval distal portion prolonged proximally into a slender tubular cauda. Gymnocyst reduced. Cryptocyst extensive, without opesiules, surrounded by raised rim. Opesia terminal, as long as wide, larger than the operculum. Branching lateral. Ovicell prominent, not closed by the operculum; ectooecium mostly membranous, with a peripheral calcified rim; endooecium granular. Spines and heterozooids absent. Type species: Crepis longipes Jullien, 1882 (by original designation).
