Oval; 5.5–6.0 mm (mean = 5.75, n = 2) in length; 2.7–3.0 mm (mean = 2.85, n = 2) in width; derm fuscous; scape as long as funicular segments 4–7; disc of prothorax slightly convex in lateral view, with square, basocentral, fuscous macula proximal to scutellum, anterior to fuscous macula with white, bar­shaped, macula; mesosternal intercoxal process not prominent; elytra with mid­central, fuscous to piceous macula on interval 1 distad of scutellum to midpoint with an arrow­shaped white macula, arrow­head pointing distally; basal half of elytra with scattered, white, macula, and white apical macula; hind femoral tooth large­sized. Genitalia: Diagram found in Morimoto (1962) , Tabula 3, figure G. Distribution. Japan ; China : Fujian Province . Remarks. This species resembles Curculio marioi n. sp. Pelsue and Zhang (2000 b ), but differs in length of hind femur not exceeding apex of abdomen, and male genitalia, with truncate apex and broader in lateral view than C. marioi .
