. Since the apices of parameres also exhibit variation in
C.

hainanensis
sp. nov
.
, we consider the elytral characters sometimes more significant than the apices of parameres. Hence, we finally identified the specimen as

. (

lewisii lewisii
. Whether the two subspecies of
C
. (
C
.)
lewisii
should be divided into more subspecies or synonymised may need further research with molecular methods.
