Remarks
The thin colony has small zooids and globular spicules (to
0.0275 mm
diameter) crowded throughout. Its spicules are a similar size to those of
D. jedanese
, but are more compact. The pigment usually observed in the test of this species was not detected in the newly recorded specimen.
