Paratype , Thailand , Chiang Mai Province , Doi Inthanon National Park , checkpoint 2, 17.xi.2006 , 18° 31.554’ N , 98° 29.940’ E , 1700m , A. Areeluck (voucher BCLDQ00168, Genbank JF962550 ) ( QSBG ). Body length 5.5 mm , fore wing length 5.0 mm and antenna length 7.8 mm . Antenna with 50 ( ) or 54 ( ) flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere pointed. Median flagellomeres 1.2–1.3 x longer than wide. Frons with strong pattern of parallel ridges curving towards midline behind antennal sockets. Occipital carina complete. Mesopleuron shiny, densely punctate, dorsally with strong longitudinally striate sculpture, precoxal sulcus deep, finely vertically striate, episternal scrobe large and deep, specular area not differentiated, punctate. Midlongitudinal carina of propodeum present on anerior 0.75 of propodeum only. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.5 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing subbasal cell glabrous on anterior half. Fore wing vein 3-SR 2.8 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 1 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2 x vein 3- SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.25 x 1- M. Hind wing vein m-cu absent. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified adpressed setae. Claws without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite large, basally convex, posteriorly concave. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite absent . Female: Basal flagellomeres brown yellow, becoming black gradually from approximately flagellomere 10, flagellomeres 26 – 43 white; male: flagellomeres 1–31 black, 32 – 40 white, 41–54 black. Etymology. Based on ‘angular’ and ‘propodeum’. Notes. The two specimens differ in only one DNA base 25 bases from 3’ end of read.
