Antenna with 60 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere pointed but not accuminate. Median flagellomeres marginally longer than wide. Occipital carina complete mediodorsally, narrowly obliterated ventrally near hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron shiny, deeply densely punctate to rugose, precoxal sulcus very deep, with strong oblique crnulae, speculum present narrowly posterioly and ventrally. Midlongitudinal propodeal carina complete though irregular; propodeum with well-developed medio-lateral angular protuberances. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.2 x 1-CU1. Fore wing subbasal cell and antero-basal part of subdiscal cell largely glabrous. Fore wing vein 3-SR 1.95 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 0.8 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.25 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.4 x 1-M. Hind wing basal cell largely glabrous. Hind wing vein m-cu variable, from nearly absent to represented by pigmented wing fold, interstitial. Apex of hind tibia without comb of specially modified adpressed setae. Claws with pecten of 6 short robust teeth along whole of length of basal lobe, leaving larger gap before claw proper, longest in middle. Basal lobes of first metasomal tergite roundly protruding. Midlongitudinal carina of 3
rd
tergite weakly differentiated only on anterior 0.2. Males without medial gland pore on tergites 4-6.
Etymology. Named because of it’s yellow-striped metasoma.
