Remarks.
A single, corroded shell of this species was collected in Bolikhamsay Province, which represents the first record of this widespread species in
Laos
. So far it was known in northern
Vietnam
, and the Chinese provinces of Yunnan, Sichuan, Chongqing, Hunan, Hubei, and Guangdong (Páll- Gergely et al., 2015). This is a very variable species (
Fig. 1A–D
), but can be recognised based on the aperture shape (straight parietal part, smoothly angled columellar-parietal transition and sharply angled parietal-palatal transition), the regular ribbing and the turriform shell shape.
