Gambia ( Clastrier & Wirth 1961 ), Ghana ( Carter et al . 1921 ), South Africa ( de Meillon & Wirth 1981 ), Israel ( Dominiak et al . 2007 ), Yemen , Oman ( Boorman & van Harten 2002 ), the United Arab Emirates ( Szadziewski et al . 2011 ), and Réunion ( Clastrier 1959 ). The record from Ethiopia ( de Meillon & Wirth 1981 ) is doubtful. This species is new for the Lebanese fauna.
