Remarks
.
Alamprops tenuis
has a unique combination of characters in the genus of a single ridge on the carapace and four pairs of lateral setae on the telson;
A. lomakinae
also has a single ridge on the carapace, but has no lateral setae on the telson. The only similar species in
Lamprops
is
L. beringi
, which has a similar carapace with strong lateral ridge. However, in
L. beringi
there are only three setae terminally on the telson, wherease in
A. tenuis
there are five terminal setae on the telson.
