Holotype female in NMSA (not seen).
Diagnosis.
Dorsocentrals 2+3; fore tibia without a posterior seta; mid femur with 2 preapical setae; mid tibia with 2 posterior setae; lower katepisternal seta closer to the posterior one than to the anterior one; haltere yellow.
Notes.
It runs to couplet 34 and to
L. simulans
in Emden’s (1951) key, but differs by having the dark presutural band reaching to 2nd presutural dorsocentral, not incised or divided medially. It is known only from one female and may be just a variation of
L. simulans
.
