Anterior margin of forcipular coxosternite straight (or more or less bilobed), divided by small median diastema and lacking any kind of tooth plates ( Fig. 21 ); tarsungula long, overlapping each other by at least 1/3 of their length when adducted. LBS 7 with spiracles. Ultimate leg with tarsus 2 divided into 4–40 variably-distinct secondary articles ( Figs 19 , 20 ), without claw-shaped pretarsus. Number of species. 40 species plus 10 subspecies (new data). Remarks. Treated as a subgenus in Ázara and Ferreira (2014: 267) , Chagas-Jr (2018: 154).
