Head (except longitudinal stripes dorsally), third rostral segment, anterior pronotal lobe, lateral pronotal angles, propleural epimeron, meso- and metapleura of thorax, thoracic sterna, scutellum, coxae, median longitudinal stripe of ventral surface of abdomen blackish brown to black; posterior pronotal lobe dark reddish brown; head dorsally with two pale longitudinal stripes sublaterally and a pale longitudinal stripe before synthlipsis; connexivum brown, with pale yellowish brown marking, lateral margins and posterior margins suffused with black; ventral surface of abdomen dark brown with many scattered paler round spots; rostrum (except third segment), femora (except basal portion) brown; trochanters, basal portion of femur, mid and hind tibiae (except apical portion), annulations on subbasal part and middle of fore tibia light yellowish brown; hemelytra dull brown, with paler yellowish brown markings.
Structure.
Body oblong-ovate. Head, pronotum, scutellum, thoracic pleura and sterna, ventral surface of abdomen clothed with short bent pubescence; corium and legs sparsely clothed with yellowish thin setae; first antennal segment clothed with short bent setae, second to fourth segments clothed with oblique short setae, third and fourth with few long setae. Clypeus anteriorly produced (
Fig. 2
); anterior lobe of head dorsally with a long and narrow “V”-shaped sulcus; first antennal segment slightly shorter than head; rostrum robust and bent, first segment subequal in length to remaining two segments. Anterior pronotal lobe with symmetrical glabrous sculptures, posterior lobe rugose; spines of lateral pronotal angles short and slightly produced backwards and upwards (
Figs. 1
,
2
); anterior margin of pronotum concave, posterior margin nearly straight or feebly convex; posterolateral margins nearly straight; apical spine of scutellum short, suberect, directed posteriorly (
Fig. 2
); postscutellum with a protuberance; fore and mid femora beneath subapically with two small spines, hind femora with one spine; fore wing not reaching abdominal tip. Posterior angle of each connexival segment with an indistinct spinule (
Fig. 3
); abdomen slightly dilated laterally. Pygophore oblong (
Figs. 5, 6
); paramere clubbed, subbasal portion somewhat thickened, apex acute and curved (
Figs. 7, 8
). Basal plate bridge thin and middle curved, basal plate slender (
Fig. 10
); pedicel relatively thin; struts long, mostly fused, apex with a slip-shaped sclerite (
Fig. 10
); endosoma with two “S”-shaped sclerite (
Figs. 10, 11
).
