Colour.
General colour varies from yellowish green, sordid creamy, green to brown, with or without orange red or brown longitudinal bands and markings.
Morphology.
Head subequal in width to pronotum. Crown rounded, broad at anterior margin, short, usually with uniform length. Frontoclypeus narrow, laterofrontal sutures reaching ocelli. Clypellus narrow, sides usually parallel with convex apex slightly expanded. Margin of gena next to clypellus much narrower than ocellocular area. Ocelli on anterior margin of crown, visible dorsally. Pronotum much longer than crown, lateral margins short, divergent, sometimes longer, without carina; posterior margin transverse or shallowly concave. Male genitalia.
Pygofer lobe broadly or narrowly rounded posteriorly, posteroventral margin usually produced, with or without processes; with group of submarginal setae posteriorly. Subgenital plates triangular, long or short; apex fingerlike, membranous, or rarely without membranous apical extension; ventrolateral margin with uniseriate row of setae, sometimes with small sclerotized tooth present on dorsolateral margin. Style with apical process well-developed, usually strongly curved; lateral lobe well-developed, rarely reduced; basal arm very short. Connective Y-shaped, articulated with aedeagus. Aedeagus usually simple, filamentous, recurved anterodorsally, base sometimes expanded; rarely with process.
