Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 20A ). Wingspan 8.0− 8.5 mm . Thiotricha clinopeda is readily recognized by the white forewing with two distinct oblique streaks arising from dorsum. The male genitalia ( Fig. 43D, L ) are somewhat similar to those of T. pediformis , but T. clinopeda has the uncus covered with long setae and the more slender valva with ventral margin broadly concave medially. The female genitalia ( Fig. 60C ) can be distinguished from its allies by the broad ductus bursae abruptly expanded after the base. Distribution. China ( Yunnan ), India , Sri Lanka . Remarks. This species is recorded from China for the first time.
