Material examined. Holotype , NEPAL : Thakkola , Alt-Marpha , 3100–3200 m , leg. J. Martens , 6–7 Jul 1973 , SMF (31669), vulva mounted separately. Comments. The species was described according to a female collected in Nepal . “Nach der Epigynum bestehen Beziehungen zu Porrhomma kulczynskii , nunamo und pallidum ” ( Wunderlich, 1983 ). The vulva of P. boreale (= nunamo , kulczynskii ) is fundamentally different. The examined vulva is similar to those of P. pallidum or P. egeria . However, a male is unknown, and it is impossible to decide on the species identity without a male. At present, we must consider this species as species inquirenda and the name Porrhomma marphaense to be a nomen dubium .
