Distribution
. This species occurs from southern
Cameroon
to
Gabon
and
Congo
. In
Equatorial Guinea
it has been recorded from Cabo San Juan (
Boulenger 1905
) and Monte Alén National Park (
Lasso
et al.
2002
), including Monte Mitra (
Gonwouo & Nsang 2005
) (
Map 7B
).
Comments.
Populations from
Equatorial Guinea
were formerly treated as
H. fasciatus
Gray, 1842
until the revision of
Wagner
et al.
(2014)
.
