Contributions to the classification of North American Microctonus (Braconidae, Euphorinae) Author Pucci, Thomas M. text Zootaxa 2013 2013-10-25 3725 1 1 150 http://dx.doi.org/10.11646/zootaxa.3725.1.1 journal article 10.11646/zootaxa.3725.1.1 1175-5326 5268043 01F895B7-6FFD-44A0-89AB-9236A3FE09AF M. nitidulidis Loan Figures 89–91 Microctonus nitidulidis Loan, 1978, p 324 . Distribution: Ohio and Delaware . Specimens examined: Two hundred and seven from five collection events; questionable female identifications: three from two collection events. Flight period: April through September. Remarks: The only field-collected specimens the author is aware of were reared from a locality in Wooster County, Ohio and Newark, Delaware until the author reared a specimen from Geauga County, Ohio . The paucity of collection events is interesting considering the commonness of the host. Size-related characters are the only ones known to distinguish this species from M. muesebecki .
