Andrena ( Plastandrena ) aff. tibialis (Kirby, 1802) Material examined IRAN1 ♂ ; Yasouj , Abshar ; 2–8 Mar. 2011 ; H. Elahi and M. Mesavian leg.; ICPI 1 ♂ ; Yasouj , Vezg ; 19 Apr. 2011 ; H. Elahi and M. Mesavian leg.; ICPI . Literature records Alfken (1935) ; Popov (1967) ; Allahverdi et al . (2016) . Remarks The two male specimens examined here have the genital capsules of A. tibialis , but S8 is noticeably broadened apically, and should be recorded as ‘ aff. tibialis ’. As noted by Gusenleitner & Schwarz (2002) , A. tibialis shows considerable variation across its range, particularly in Turkey and the Middle East. A revision of this taxon is needed, preferably with molecular techniques. Distribution In a broad sense, Palearctic ( Gusenleitner & Schwarz 2002 ; Scheuchl & Willner 2016 ).
