Remarks
The
two male
specimens examined here have the genital capsules of
A. tibialis
, but S8 is noticeably broadened apically, and should be recorded as ‘
aff.
tibialis
’. As noted by
Gusenleitner & Schwarz (2002)
,
A. tibialis
shows considerable variation across its range, particularly in
Turkey
and the Middle East. A revision of this taxon is needed, preferably with molecular techniques.
Distribution
In a broad sense, Palearctic (
Gusenleitner & Schwarz 2002
;
Scheuchl & Willner 2016
).
