Lepturgantes dilectus ; Monné, 1977 : 708 , fig. 18; 2005: 68 (cat.). Redescription. Male. Integument brown; legs paler. Body with predominance of dark-brown pubescence. Grayish pubescence covers: apices of lateral tubercles of pronotum; on elytra: rounded spot on each side of scutellum, one median transverse spot with irregular outline near suture, two short postmedian longitudinal lines; and apical spot near suture shaped as a fleur-de-lis. Antennae exceeding elytral apices at the apices of segment 5; segments 3-11 with short and sparse setae. Prothorax with lateral tubercles continuous with posterior angles; pronotum with two or three rows of coarse punctures on posterior margin and punctures arranged in an inverted “V” on disc. Prosternum and mesosternum with intercoxal process narrow, laminiform, about 1/ 10 as wide as one coxa. Elytra about 2.5 times as long as prothorax; fine punctation sparsely distributed on distal half and densely on basal half; apical 2/3 of lateral margin with short seriate setae; elytral apices semicircularly notched, sutural and outer angles slightly projected. Femora subclavate. Fifth urosternite feebly emarginate, and urotergite transversely truncate at apex. Female. Unknown. Measurements (mm), male. Total length, 10.0; prothorax length, 2.0; prothorax width, 3.0; elytral length, 7.0; humeral width, 3.5. Specimens examined. BRAZIL , Mato Grosso: Sinop, male, X.1974 (Alvarenga & Roppa leg.) (MNRJ). Geographical distribution. This species is recorded from Amazonas and Mato Grosso in Brazil ( Monné 2005 ).
