Orientomiris sumatranus (Poppius, 1915) n. comb . ( Figure 49 ) Adelphocoris sumatranus Poppius, 1915a : 32 –33 (as new species); Carvalho 1959 : 20 (catalog). Waucoris sumatranus : Carvalho 1987 : 156 (n. comb.). Adelphocoris sumatranus : Schuh 1995 : 693 (catalog), 2002–2013 (online catalog) [the new combination of A. sumatranus in the genus Waucoris was ignored by Schuh (1995 : 693 , 2002–2013 )]. Material examined. Type specimen: Holotype ♀ by monotypy: INDONESIA : SUMATRA: Panscherang-Pisang, x.1890 - iii.1891 , E. Modigliani leg., type 10079 ( MZHF ) [The specimen bears original identification label with the mention “ Adelphocoris sumatranus n. sp. ” and a second label with the mentions “ A. sumatranus ” and “not A ., possibly belonging to Orientomiris ”. It was apparently dissected—abdomen lacking]. Diagnosis. Body yellow to reddish-brown. Head yellowish brown, vertex medially dark red, eyes dark brown with light gray patches. Sulcus of vertex thin, very narrow. First antennal segment yellowish-brown, apically clublike, second antennal segment reddish-brown apically and basally, yellowish brown sub-medially, third and fourth segments missing. Apical collar and pronotal disk as well as pronotal callosities yellowish-brown, posterior margin of pronotum dark red. Scutellum reddish-brown to dark brown similar to clavus. Endocorium reddish-brown, exocorium yellowish-brown, cuneus reddish-brown. Membrane light brown. Dorsal pilosity white, recumbent or semi-erect. Discussion. The type of O . sumatranus conforms to our diagnosis of Orientomiris on the basis of its external anatomy; hence we suggest the new combination. The holotype was originally from MCSN (Genoa) ( Poppius 1915a ) but it is now preserved in MZHF.
