SYNONYMS: None. DISTRIBUTION: Marmosops magdalenae is known from lowland and montane forests (from ca. 100 to 1900 m ) in the valley of the Río Magdalena and in the Cordillera Oriental (eastern Andes) of Colombia (Díaz-Nieto and Voss, 2016: fig. 28). REMARKS: For illustrations, description, measurement data, and morphological comparisons with closely related congeners, see Díaz-Nieto and Voss (2016), who assigned Marmosops magdalenae to the Bishopi Group based on phylogenetic analyses of DNA sequence data previously reported by Díaz-Nieto et al. (2016b) .
