New species of Peromyia from Tasmania, with a revision of S´s and S´s types of Australian Micromyinae (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae) Author Jaschhof, Mathias text Beiträge Zur Entomologie = Contributions to Entomology 2010 2010-07-31 60 1 33 55 https://www.contributions-to-entomology.org/article/view/1767 journal article 6460 10.21248/contrib.entomol.60.1.33-55 fb046e10-a720-45bc-8684-5935587d267f 0005-805X 4752387 Campylomyza grandiuscula SKUSE, 1890 : The holotype specimen is labelled “ C. grandiuscula  TYPE. F. A. A. Skuse” and “Aug. 21”. Preserved are the thorax, some of the legs and the abdomen, including terminalia. The structure of the terminalia indicates grandiuscula is a species of the genus Pteridomyia JASCHHOF, 2003 . The genitalic characters observed should allow recognition of this species, once fresh specimens become available for comparison and redescription. Pseudomonardia grandiusculagrandiuscula is not among the PseudomonardiaPseudomonardia species known from New Zealand (cf. JASCHHOF & JASCHHOF 2003 ) nor among those found to occur in Tasmania ( JASCHHOF , in prep.).
