Type locality. China , Hubei province , Dalaoshan [ *̓ẇ ], 31°03′N 110°57′E . Type material. Holotype male ( NHMW ), labeled: “ China , W Hubei , 9.–10. VI. 2004 , Dalaoshan forest park, 31.05N 110.95E , Jaroslav Turna leg.“. Diagnosis. This species can be recognized based on the following combination of characters: head, pronotum, and elytra ( Figs 3C , 8B ) more or less uniformly dark brown to blackish; male elytra 2.2 times as long as wide; elytral surface ( Fig. 10E ) relatively rough, elytral punctures coarse, moderately large, intervals between elytral punctures within single row usually 1.0–2.0 times puncture diameter; intervals between elytral punctures of different rows usually about 2.0–3.0 puncture diameter; aedeagus ( Fig. 12E ) without U-shaped phallobase, parameres relatively long, reaching about the place where median lobe is abruptly narrowed subapically. Distribution. This species is so far known only from the single specimen collected in Dalaoshan Forest Park, western Hubei , China ( Fig. 15 ).
