Since then, Fernandes & Salino (2020) published a taxonomic revision of the genus, which affects our treatment. We here list the affected species, including species new for the Bolivian flora, and a further species that we believe has been wrongly determined and cited for Bolivia by Fernandes & Salino (2020) , and provide an updated key to the genus. In addition, the following species of Meniscium , not yet known from Bolivia , are known from adjacent countries (especially Brazil and Peru ), and so might be expected from Bolivia : M. giganteum Mett. , Meniscium lingulatum (C.Chr.) Pic. Serm. , and M. macrophyllum Kunze.
