—Segments rounded, densely scaly abaxially, glabrous adaxially (although the upper surface may be partly hidden by the scales borne on the abaxial blade surface); rhizome scales concolorous, red-brown.

, is expected to occur in
Bolivia
. It differs from
C. scariosa
by its oblong segments, long petioles (usually longer than the blade), and mostly clathrate and roughened abaxial blade scales.
